Materials:

Brightly colored thick paper
Scissors
Trim
Silk Flower
Ribbon

Print a saying/quote on mother on a decorative paper on a computer.
Paste it to foam core.
Then on the border of the foam core, hot glue a trim.
Then put a flower on top of it and decorate with a silk ribbon bow.

Message on the card:
Thank you Mother, for giving us a very special gift.
You sang us the Bhajans at bedtime
and taught us how to pray.
You made sure we made it to balvikas every Friday.

And even though we acted like we didn't hear a thing,
When I'm in balvikas today,
I hear an old familiar ring.
Matru Devo Bhava! You are my Goddess every day!
